I switched out the original brown leather straps to silver mesh straps that I bought extra. If you look at the watch at an angle, the entire face is a Mother of Pearl (see photo). However, looking at the watch straight on, the center circle is Mother of Pearl and the outer circle looks white (Fossil stock picture).
I love it.

Ive always been a fan of fossil watches and i know you can get things cheaper on amazon. So i decided to go this route. And im actually really impressed. Very good looking watch! Just got it. So if anything goes wrong….ill write another review.

I love that you can track the date on this watch. However, it doesn’t seem to work properly and I can’t rely on the date that’s shown. It seems like you have to set the date at exactly 12 midnight or it won’t move forward correctly. At this point I don’t even look at the date anymore. I’m a little sad about it but it wasn’t a deal breaker.

This Fossell is practically perfect. There are only 2 problems for me. I can’t blame them on the watch, though! First, the face of the watch is absolutely beautiful. The picture online doesn’t do it justice. The colors are translucent and lovely. It needed charging when I got it, and once it was charged, I haven’t had to reset it for about a week. The tiny hole where the date is displayed is so small I can’t read any numbers. I was hoping I could, but no. My old eyes are even having trouble reading the time! Not the watch’s fault! The golden hands meld into the golden time marks and it is beautiful to look at, but I have to look hard to find the actual time! I’m keeping it because it is quite lovely. I love the leather band for my small wrist. I love the way the colors change in different light. I love how accurately it does keep time. It just makes me happy to wear it and I do recommend it – especially for younger persons with good eyesight!

I guess you could say I collect (mostly Kate Spade) women’s watches that have some personality. Mostly attracted to those with something distinctive on the dial. BUT I bought this watch because I loved the woven leather band. The watch itself is a very nice design and the band sets if off very nicely!!!

The watch is beautiful and unique. Excited to receive it but the delivery and packaging was awful. The entire box was twisted and bent, and the watch was out of its box but did not sustain any damage. I can’t even close the box but the watch will do.
